Meet: Art Campbell Lake County Invitational
Date: September 4, 2019 (No rain date)


Time Schedule:
4:30 pm Coaches Meeting
4:45 pm Girls Varsity (Limit 10 runners)
5:15 pm Boys Varsity (Limit 10 runners)
5:45 pm Girls Open
6:15 pm Boys Open
6:45 pm Awards


Facilities:
Parking: Buses should drop off student-athletes and park on the West side of Green Bay Road just East of the
course. (See attached map)


Restrooms: There are ample restroom facilities throughout the Sports Park (See attached map).


Concessions: The Waukegan Park District will have concessions available for purchase.


Tents : We are not allowed to use stakes to secure our tents. You will need to secure them with sandbags or you can bungee them to the fence. Tent City Area is located on the North and West side of the Synthetic Turf
Football/Soccer Field.


Inclement Weather Procedures: The Sports Complex is equipped with a Vault Guard Weather System. Buses need to stay on-site on the East end of the course in case of inclement weather. Specific procedures will be discussed at the coaches meeting.

*Please stay off soccer fields and make sure that athletes are warming-up and cooling down in designated areas *

Timing:
Real Timing is the official timing and scorer for the Lake County XC Invitational.
Entries can be entered at their website www.realtiminginc.com for both Boys and Girls


· Each runner will be given a timing chip to attach to their shoe. All chips are to be returned to Real Timing, Inc. at the conclusion of the invitational or you will be charged.

T-Shirts and Apparel:
Wauconda will be selling t-shirts for both the boys and girls and t-shirts for $20.00.


Trainer:
There will be an athletic trainer on-site the day of the meet.


Meet Markings:
Solid white lines will be used to mark the course, with arrows used to help athletes determine intersections.


Flags will also be used to aid athletes in turn accuracy. Specifically, the yellow flag will identify a right turn and a red flag will signify a left turn. The first and second mile will be marked with signage and the mile will have a clock.
